code 62 blind flange Main types
With different Sealing surface, there are two main types of SAE closed flanges as below.
- Flat face SAE blind flange (GFC):
This type of blind flange is usually used together with a O-ring face socket weld, butt weld or screw-in flange. - SAE blind flange with O-ring grooved face (AFC)
O-ring face blind flange is usually used together with a counter flange (flat face) of socket weld/butt weld/screw-in flange.

- Carbon steel: C20, C45, ST52, E355, other steel grades on request.
- Stainless steel: available in 304 (EN/DIN 1.4301), 304L (EN/DIN 1.4307), 316 (EN/DIN 1.4401), 316L (EN/DIN 1.4404), 316Ti(EN/DIN 1.4571), duplex stainless steel flange is also available on request.
