SAE flange is a kind of hydraulic flanges which is designed and made according to standard SAE J518C.
SAE flanges are also conform to standard ISO 6162-1 and ISO 6162-2. The SAE flange according to ISO6162-1 is known as code 61 flange or SAE 3000 flange also, while the SAE flange according to ISO6162-2 is known as code 62 flange or SAE 6000 flange also.

SAE flange main series
SAE flanges come in two different pressure series below:
- 3000 psi code 61 series /SAE 3000 flanges
The 3000 psi series SAE flanges are designed for normal /light pressure applications, they conform to standard ISO 6162-1, and are well known as code 61 flanges. - 6000 psi code 62 series / Flange SAE 6000
The 6000 psi series SAE flanges are designed for heavy pressure applications, they conform to standard ISO 6162-2, and are well known as code 62 flanges.

SAE flange Working Pressure
The working pressure rate of SAE flanges usually are determined by the strength of the SAE flange block, the O-ring seal, and the bolts strength grade.
And there are two main different pressure rates of SAE flanges, which are:
- SAE Class 3000 psi flanges:
With suitable O-ring and bolts, the working pressure of SAE class 3000 flanges can be up to 350 bar, depends on the sizes. The smaller the size, the higher working pressure of the flanges. - SAE Class 6000 psi flanges:
With suitable O-ring and bolts, the working pressure of SAE class 6000 flanges can be up to 350 bar or 420 bar, depends on the bolts used. When use the grade 8.8 bolts, the working pressure of the flange SAE 6000 can be max. 350 bar, when use the grade 10.9 bolts, the working pressure of the flange SAE 6000 can be max. 420 bar.

SAE Blind Flange-SAE Blanking Flange
SAE blind flange is one of our main product line of hydraulic SAE flanges. Our factory produces different versions of SAE blind flanges / SAE blanking flanges of the code 61 (class SAE 3000 PSI) series as per ISO 6162-1 standard, and the code 62 series (class SAE 6000 PSI) as per ISO 6162-2. Flat type Socket Weld Flanges SAE 500 PSI-Code 61 series
Younglee Metal manufactures & supplies SAE 500 psi series SAE Socket Weld Flanges flat type for hydraulic tubes, hoses and pipes under low pressure. They are known as code 61 500 psi SW flange also.
SAE 500 psi Socket weld flanges flat style are the low pressure series of SAE Socket Weld Flanges. The working pressure can be Max 35 bar (500 psi) or 40 bar (580 psi).
SAE Flange Clamp with Metric Tapped Holes
Younglee Metal manufacturers SAE Flange Clamp with Metric Tapped holes, we produce different versions in the code 61 series (class SAE 3000 PSI) as per ISO 6162-1 and code 62 series (class SAE 6000 PSI) as per ISO 6162-2 standard. Both two versions conform to standard SAE J518. Thread of metric tapped holes is available in M8- M30 according to datasheet.
SAE 3000 PSI Socket Weld Flanges /SW Code 61 Flange
SAE 3000 PSI SAE Socket Weld Flanges are known as code 61 Socket weld flanges also. They are designed for standard and normal pressure applications. The working pressure of the SAE 3000 psi flanges can be 35 bar to 350 bar depends on itself size and the screws used. Our factory manufacturer full size range (1/2” to 5”, DN15 to DN125) of Code 61 SAE 3000 SW flanges as per ISO 6162-1 standard, and SAE J 518 standard.
SAE 6000 PSI Socket Weld Flanges /SW CODE 62 Flange
SAE 6000 psi Socket weld flanges (SW flanges) are designed according to ISO 6162-2 or SAE J518. They are well known as code 62 socket weld flanges also, and they are the SAE socket weld flanges for high pressure applications, working pressure can be as high as 420 bar. They are called SAE 6000 SW flange for short some times. Our factory produces Code 62 SW flanges in full size range of 1/2″(DN15) to 3″(DN80).
